HeritACT Project: Activating Heritage through Sustainability and Innovation

The HeritACT project, funded by the European Union under the Horizon Europe Programme, is dedicated to revitalising cultural heritage sites through sustainable practices and innovative solutions. 

8 July 2024. HeritACT focuses on integrating architecture, digital tools, cultural practices and participatory methods to create engaging and sustainable urban environments for all. The project aims to transform historical areas into vibrant, livable spaces that reflect the principles of the New European Bauhaus, promoting a greener, fairer, and more inclusive way of life.

Questionnaires to measure urban sustainability

We are excited to announce the launch of the first in a series of questionnaires aimed at developing and applying an Urban Sustainability Assessment Framework for HeritACT pilot sites. This initiative underscores the importance of considering the local relevance of sustainability dimensions and constituent factors to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of urban areas.
